    Event Details:

2016 is full of anticipated employee-friendly legal changes. The Department of Labor has announced it will change its minimum salary for exempt workers to $50,000.00 this year, perhaps throwing some employers’ budget planning back to the drawing board. In addition, employers are facing new EEOC Guidance in the wake of last year’s U.S. Supreme Court case on pregnancy discrimination.

Please join Polsinelli attorneys Carol C. Barnett and Katharine K. Sangha as well as Dayna Deck, EEOC Region VII Senior Trial Attorney, for an open discussion on the latest employment law updates. Topics will include the Department of Labor’s proposed changes for both exempt status employees and possible changes on electronic device issues for nonexempt employees as well as a follow-up on the EEOC’s Enforcement Guidance on Pregnancy Discrimination and related issues.
