    Program Description:

    Attendees will hear an overview of where we are today including local and national health realities and the economic impacts of both. We will redefine what “wellness” is, learn about why a cross-functional team is necessary for success, and walk through the performance management of a wellness program.

    Presenter Information:

      Matthew Condon, JD/MBA   

    Matt is one of the founders of ARC and serves as CEO. He tirelessly works to redefine “Excellence” in the healthcare field. Matt has been recognized as a thought leader in the industry and was named to the Greater Kansas City Chamber’s Health Council whose goal is to enhance understanding, dialog and share best practices about emerging issues at the local, regional and national level. Additionally, Matt was appointed Chairman of the Chamber's Small, Diverse and Emerging Business Council and serves on the Chamber's Board of Directors.

    Matt is frequently a guest speaker at national events such as: WorkSTEPS National Symposium, guest lecturer at University of Kansas Physical Therapy Program and has in the past been spotlighted in an ARC Sports Performance training feature on ESPN and MetroSports.
     
    Before starting ARC, Matt worked at the International Performance Institute in Bradenton, Florida, training and developing professional athletes under renowned specialist Mark Verstegen. Matt played football at Iowa State while earning his degree in Exercise Physiology and served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach there. He went on to earn his law degree and clerk in the legal division of the KU Athletic Department. Matt is a licensed attorney in Missouri and Kansas.

    Please note that if you RSVP for a Chapter program or event, you will be billed regardless of attendance unless you cancel your reservation 72 hours before the scheduled event (ex: the Friday before the regularly scheduled Tuesday meeting). If you are unable to attend at the last minute, please consider having another member of your organization attend in your place. In the event of a program/event cancellation by the Chapter, any RSVPs that have pre-paid will be refunded 100%.
