2017 MISSOURI SHRM DAY ON THE HILL & EMPLOYMENT LAW CONFERENCE
Meet with Your State Lawmakers During the MO SHRM Legislative Conference Advocacy Day and have Your HR Voice Heard!
A returning component of the annual MO SHRM Legislative Conference, take advantage of the unique chance to protect and advance the profession by letting your state lawmakers know, in person, how pending workplace legislation directly affects you as an HR professional. Join us for this rare chance to visit the offices of your state legislators at the State Capital on April 19th, along with other MO SHRM advocates to help educate your lawmakers on important issues impacting your organization.
If you have never participated in a meeting with an elected official, not to worry: SHRM’s Government Affairs team will provide policy updates on pending HR-related proposals, as well as best practices on how HR professionals can share with lawmakers how these proposals will impact their workplace. Appointments are scheduled by SHRM in advance.
Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to join the HR advocacy army as we raise our voices to make a difference in Jefferson City!
