    Program Description:

     Missteps by HR in Employee Claims.  The focus will be on real-life examples of employee claims and the mistakes made by human resources professionals in handling claims.  There will also be a time for questions and answers about general employment law topics.   

    Presenter Information:

    Nancy Potter Lyle

    Nancy Potter Lyle is an attorney in St. Joseph, Missouri at the law firm of Taylor Siemens Elliott Creedy & Lyle, P.C.  After attending William Jewell College, Nancy worked for a time in politics.  Nancy attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis and then started her practice at a large firm in Dallas, Texas and at that firm focused on real estate law. Desiring to be closer to her family, she returned to Northwest Missouri in 2010. Nancy’s law practice includes a wide breadth of practice areas and clients. Nancy handles matters concerning real estate and corporate transactions; corporate formation and planning; employment law; estate planning; loan workouts, forbearances, foreclosures, and bankruptcies; personal injury claims and litigation; business and commercial litigation; and trust and estate disputes and planning.

    Nancy’s clients include individuals, corporations, start-up companies, and family-owned farms and businesses. Nancy prides herself in forming relationships with her clients and dedicating her skills and knowledge to achieving each of her client’s goals. She strives to find practical solutions to solve any issue a client is facing.  In her personal life, Nancy is a mom and wife and involved in her family farm.  She enjoys being active in the community and dedicates time and energy to community development for future generations.
