This presentation will explore some of the issues employers may face with respect to what is expected to be unprecedented workplace tension during this election season, including a 10-Step Action Plan to assist employers in navigating these difficult issues.

Laura Brown
Laura Bailey Brown is a partner with Fisher & Phillips, LLP in Kansas City. She focuses her practice on defending and counseling employers in a variety of complex employment law matters including covenants not to compete, non-solicitation agreements, unfair competition, employee defection, trade secrets, discrimination, and retaliation. Laura has extensive experience in all phases of the litigation process, and she also works closely with her clients to help recruit talent from competitors in a lawful manner, protect confidential information and customer relationships, prepare effective employment policies and handbooks, provide on-site training, conduct internal workplace investigations, and manage employee performance.
